Technology Scotland is pleased to announce it has secured funding as part of a new Innovate UK funded project. Led by QURECA, and in partnership with Technology Scotland and Heriot-Watt University, SPRINT (project ref. 10196257) – Scottish Platform for Recruitment and Intelligence in New Technologies – will represent an active, AI enabled, employer-led hiring infrastructure.
The project brings together Scottish employers and local talent across quantum, photonics, cyber security, semiconductors and advanced connectivity technologies (ACT).
Through SPRINT, participating employers can engage with emerging talent via an AI assisted recruitment platform while helping to shape employer-validated future skills provision. There is also an opportunity for employers to participate in Scotland's first dedicated careers fair in critical technologies (early March 2027).
Statement of intent
We are currently inviting employers interested in participating in the project to complete a Statement of Intent and return it to Alastair.mcinroy@technologyscotland.scot as soon as possible.
This document is a simple, non-binding statement of intent. It records how your organisation would like to participate in SPRINT and enables Technology Scotland to maintain an auditable pipeline of employer engagement for the project.
Signing it does not require your organisation to create a vacancy, interview a particular candidate, or make a hire. It simply records your intention to engage with the project and its activities where appropriate.
