What does your organisation do?
Embed Software Ltd is a software engineering company specialising in the development of high-integrity, safety-critical software solutions for clients operating in highly regulated industries, including medical technology, automotive, and defence.
The company provides a comprehensive range of services, including software development, embedded systems engineering, software architecture, verification and testing, technical consultancy, and research and development. Working closely with clients, Embed Software supports the entire product lifecycle, from concept to design, development and verification through to field deployment and ongoing support.
Established in 2022, Embed Software’s senior management team brings together over 100 years of combined experience delivering complex software solutions across regulated industries. This extensive expertise provides the company with a deep understanding of the technical, regulatory, and commercial challenges involved in developing software that meets stringent compliance requirements while delivering measurable value to customers.

What is your organisation’s biggest achievement?
Embed Software’s greatest achievement to date has been building a highly experienced team of software engineers with a shared commitment to solving complex technical challenges and delivering outstanding value for clients.
A recent success was supporting an innovative SME through a critical stage of prototype development. Embed Software took ownership of the software development, delivering a series of key milestones over a 12-month period that helped position the company for a successful acquisition valued at approximately US$100 million by a major US Healthcare company. This project demonstrates the team’s ability to deliver high-quality software that creates significant commercial impact.
Tell us something exciting about your organisation?
One of the most exciting developments at Embed Software has been our investment in AI and its secure application within safety-critical software development. We have developed Embed AI – a bespoke AI-powered Quality Management System (QMS) that fully complies with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, using fine-tuned agentic AI to streamline day-to-day quality processes. With appropriate human oversight, the platform also supports selected software engineering activities, including testing and code management, enabling faster delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
