| 7th September | Innovate UK KTN Design in Innovation Network Advisory Board | Meeting of Advisory Board to discuss upcoming Innovate UK Design Strategy |
| 7th & 8th September | EPIC Industrial Quantum Photonics Technology Summit | Attended the summit hosted by EPIC and University of Glasgow. |
| 8th September | Photonics Scotland networking evening | Hosted 2nd Photonics Scotland networking evening, with over 30 representatives from across the sector. |
| 8th September | MaaS Scotland Special Interest Group on Behavioural Change | Guest speakers included BetterPoints and Fairtiq. |
| 9th September | IET Sustainability, Net Zero and Resilience | Attended meeting to discuss event taking place at Holyrood in December 2022. |
| 9th September | PLG Future Photonics Leaders Early Career Sandpit | Attended sandpit (presented Opening up Photonics and chaired breakout room) to define the concept, ToR, representation, initial tasks and roles. |
| 12th September | Scotland Semiconductor Strategy Meeting | Attended meeting with relevant representatives from across the sector to discuss the sector in Scotland. |
| 13th September | Advanced Manufacturing National Occupational Standards Technical Expert Group | Attended meeting for the development of 6 new NOS for the Higher-Level Functions in Advanced Manufacture |
| 13th September | Photonics update meeting with officials from Scottish Government and Scottish Enterprise | Regular monthly meeting to discuss photonics sector in Scotland and Photonics Scotland activities. |
| 14th September | Update meeting with EDI manager from NMIS. | Regular monthly meeting to discuss potential collaborations and activities. |
| 21st – 23rd September | CARLA Camp Graz | Invited to speak and take part in industry panel at CARLA Camp Graz, for early-stage researchers and students to discover photonics, meet experts from academia and industry. |
| 22nd September | Design for the Future of Mobility Event | Delivered through our Product Design Scotland Network, the first in a series of events exploring the role of design in key thematic areas. |
