| 12th May | 1st Meeting of the Quantum Technology special interest group | Launched the SIG with a face-to-face meeting, to discuss the aims and objectives for the group and our priorities for the sector. |

| 16th May | Meeting with Scottish Enterprise hosted by Coherent Scotland | Met with Adrian Gillespie, CEO, and Suzanne Sosna, Director of Economic Opportunities, to discuss the opportunities for economic growth with Scotland’s Enabling Technologies Sector. |
| 17th May | Meeting of Opening up Photonics management team | Met with representatives from IOP Scotland, University of Glasgow and Innovate UK KTN to discuss the Opening up Photonics initiative and plan next steps. |
| 19th May | Photonics skills discussion with industry representatives and NMIS MSA hosted by Thales. | Discussed current skills development programme through NTTF1 and opportunities for expansion under NTTF2. |
| 19th May | Photonics Scotland Networking Evening | Hosted first ever Photonics Scotland Networking Evening with 50 guests from across the sector. |
| 24th May | Inauguration of Medical Devices Manufacturing Centre | Attended formal launch of MDMC. |
| 26th May | Technology Export Plan Delivery Group | Attended 1st meeting of delivery group for SG’s Technology Sector Export Plan. |
| 26th May | 47th Stirling Physics Meeting | Attended and exhibited at the meeting to raise profile of photonics as a good career option in Scotland. |
| 31st May | MaaS Scotland Special Interest Group on Data and Governance | Delivered 3rd joint meeting of two MaaS Scotland SIGs. Guest speaker was Tjalle Groen. |
