| 19th July | The New Era for R&D Tax Relief | Webinar held in partnership with Technology Scotland member, ForrestBrown. |
| 20th July | Product Design Scotland Steering Board | Quarterly meeting of PDS Steering Board. |
| 21st July | DITI Trade Roundtable | Meeting with HM Trade Commissioner for Europe. |
| 26th July | Visit to EPIC Centre | Met with the centre director and TDA investment development manager to determine ways for our clusters to work more closely together. |
| 28th July | NMIS Skills Meeting | Meeting to discuss further opportunities to support Scotland’s Photonics sector through skills development. |
| 4th August | Photonics update meeting with officials from Scottish Government and Scottish Enterprise | Regular monthly meeting to discuss photonics sector in Scotland and Photonics Scotland activities. |
| 8th & 9th August | Frontiers of Space Optical Communications Workshop | Attended workshop hosted by University of Glasgow. |
| 11th August | IET Sustainability, Net Zero and Resilience | Joined meeting to discuss potential event taking place at Holyrood later this year. |
| 16th August | Photonics for Space Special Interest Group Meeting | Hosted by Coherent in the presence of only existing prototype mirror for James Webb Space Telescope. |
| 16th August | Meeting of Opening up Photonics management team. | Met with representatives from IOP Scotland, University of Glasgow and Innovate UK KTN to discuss the Opening up Photonics initiative and plan next steps. |
| 18th August | IET STEM in Scotland Roundtable | Attended roundtable to discuss STEM in Scotland and approaches to increase uptake for IET report being written. |
| 18th August | IET Engineering Policy Group Scotland Meeting | Attended meeting to discuss EPGS business. |
| 22nd August | Published summary of results from Photonics Scotland Manufacturing Skills Survey | Summary can be found here. |
| 24th August | Glasgow University School of Engineering Industry Advisory Board | Attended regular meeting of IAB. |
| 25th August | Meeting of Technology Sector Export Plan Deliver Group | Discussed categorisation of technology sector and available data sets for export baselining. |
| 30th August | Photonics Scotland Quantum Technology Special Interest Group | Discussions focussed on key elements of forthcoming Vision Paper for Scotland’s QT sector. |
| 31st August | MaaS Scotland Special Interest Group on Governance and Data | Meeting included guest presentation from Daan Van Der Tas, Government of Amsterdam. |
| 31st August | Photon 22 | Attended 1st day of industry sessions at the IOP Photon 22 conference. |
