| 5th July | Organising committee meeting for 9th Symposium on Optical Interconnect and Data Centres | Attended meeting to discuss the invited speakers for the symposium which is taking place in Glasgow in October 2023. |
| 11th July | CoMoUK DRT Workshop | Presented at DRT event focussed on DRT and relationship with MaaS. |
| 11th – 12th July | Urban Mobility Partnership Summit | Attended 1st UMP Summit in Birmingham. |
| 12th July | Meeting with DBT representatives. | Discussed potential upcoming incoming delegation visit for the photonics and quantum sector. |
| 18th July | Quantum Technologies Special Interest Group | Latest meeting discussed next steps in relation to recently published vision paper for Scotland. |
| 18th July | Meeting of Opening up Photonics management team. | Met with representatives from University of Glasgow, Innovate UK KTN and IOP to discuss the Opening up Photonics initiative and plan next steps. |
| 1st August | PATS Workshop | Took part in the workshop to discuss a Pre-Approved Talent Scheme for manufacturing sector in Scotland. |
| 2nd August | Quantum Technology International Summer School | Attended the QTISS to present and take part in the Networking and Collaboration session. |
| 8th August | Photonics update meeting with officials from Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Government | Regular monthly meeting to discuss photonics sector in Scotland and Photonics Scotland activities. |
| 15th August | Photonics update meeting with official from SDI | Regular meeting to discuss photonics sector in Scotland, and Photonics Scotland and SDI activities. |
| 17th August | 11th Meeting of the Photonics for Space Special Interest Group | Hosted by Fraunhofer, attendees heard from Executive Director of Space Scotland and also discussed opportunities within the sector. |
| 23rd August | NMIS Internship Project Presentation Day | Attended presentation session to learn more about this year’s intern programme results. |
| 23rd August | Compliance by Design Special Interest Group | 2nd Meeting of this Product Design Scotland SIG focussed on cybersecurity. |
| 24th August | MaaS Scotland Steering Board Meeting | Regular quarterly meeting of the group. |
| 25th August | Photonics Scotland Steering Board meeting | Regular quarterly meeting of the group. |
| 25th August | SFC Alliance Research Challenge – Quantum Technologies for the Future of Scotland | Meeting with the PIs of the recently funded Quantum ARC to discuss advisory board. |
