Technology Scotland, in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, is launching a new pilot programme to strengthen commercial and leadership capabilities across Scotland’s Critical Technologies Supercluster.
The programme is designed for emerging and established leaders working across Scotland’s critical technologies sector, including photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, connectivity and sensing. It is suitable for both experienced leaders who have had limited or no formal leadership development and future leaders looking to take the next step in their careers.
Participants will develop the self-awareness, strategic foresight, commercial understanding and influencing skills needed to lead effectively, navigate change and drive growth within their organisations.
The programme recognises the distinctive challenges facing leaders in critical technologies, where rapid technological change, uncertainty, cross-sector collaboration, commercial pressures and wider economic and national priorities increasingly shape decision-making. It combines practical learning, reflection, coaching and workplace application, enabling participants to translate new insights directly into their own organisational context.
