What does your organisation do?
Stewart Technology Ltd. is at the heart of Scotland’s thriving electronics sector – a specialist Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and precision. From populating Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) with cutting-edge Surface Mount components to delivering full product assemblies, we support our clients with every step of the electronics manufacturing process.
Pioneers in Precision Manufacturing – Stewart Technology is not just a contract manufacturer—we are a partner in progress. Our technical expertise spans from assembling and testing highly complex BGAs, QFNs, LGAs, and tiny 0201 components, to managing both Surface Mount and Through Hole technologies. Whether it’s conventional or flexible PCBs, low-batch prototypes or volume production, our commitment to quality is unwavering.
Our comprehensive capabilities extend to full product build and test—often referred to as “Box Build”—providing a seamless, end-to-end solution for our clients.
What is your organisation’s biggest achievement?
From humble beginnings in 1998 with a turnover of just £200,000, Stewart Technology has grown into a multi-million-pound operation with a turnover of £8.5 million. A crowning achievement came in September 2022 when we received ISO 13485 Medical Accreditation, affirming our capability to produce high-quality products for the medical sector—a field where precision and reliability are paramount.
