Neuranics, a Glasgow-based deep-tech company pioneering magnetic sensing solutions, has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as it enters its next phase of commercial growth. The appointment reflects Neuranics’ progression from intensive technology development towards wider commercial engagement on a global scale. It follows a strong start to 2026, marked by increasing international visibility and recognition for the company’s work.

This momentum has been reinforced by Neuranics being named among the UK’s Top 10 Startups in 2026 and receiving international recognition at CES 2026, where its technology was selected as a TechRadar Pro Top Picks Award winner. These milestones highlight growing global interest in Neuranics’ magnetic sensing solutions and their applications across wearables, extended reality (XR), and advanced human-machine interaction.
Jane Mackie has been appointed CFO, bringing more than 20 years of experience supporting high-growth technology companies through periods of scale and international expansion, with a background spanning acquisitions, corporate governance, financial management and fundraising.

Noel McKenna, CEO of Neuranics, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Jane to the team. Her experience supporting high-growth technology companies makes her a strong addition to Neuranics as we continue to scale the business globally.”

Jane Mackie, CFO at Neuranics, said:
“Neuranics is at a pivotal point as it transitions from deep technology development into a more commercially focused phase. I am excited to work with the team to build the financial and operational foundations needed to support global partnerships and long-term, sustainable growth.”

Based in Glasgow, Neuranics works with partners worldwide and sees this appointment as a key step in building a scalable deep-tech business from Scotland with global reach. The company also plans to expand its commercial team during 2026, with additional roles planned in both Glasgow and the United States to support growing international engagement.
