The global electronics component shortage has been well documented, resulting from several factors including problems at production facilities, increased demand from market sectors such as the automotive industry, the effects of COVID and increased customs and transportation costs as well as delays due to clearance checks.
In recognition of the impact of this shortage on our own networks, Technology Scotland and CENSIS are seeking input to inform potential opportunities for collective action.
