Technology Scotland is delighted to be organising the 27th Workshop on Advances in Analog Circuit Design. The Workshop will take place over 3 days in Edinburgh on 14 – 16 May 2018.
As the leading cluster organisation for industry, academia, and other institutes engaged in the Emerging & Enabling (E&E) Technology sectors in Scotland, Technology Scotland works with organisations involved in advanced material, electronics, nanotechnology, photonics, advanced manufacturing and more.
It is therefore more thrilled to announce it will deliver the 27th AACD Workshop in Edinburgh in May 2018 sponsored by Analog Devices, Cirrus Logic, Dialog Semiconductor and Broadcom.
The AACD workshops are a high-quality series of events held annually all over the world since 1992 with the aim of bringing together a large group of people working at the forefront of analog circuit design. The workshop will offer the opportunity to discuss new possibilities and future developments whilst networking with key figures from across the analog design community.
Scotland’s ancient capital, Edinburgh is the largest financial centre in the UK after London. The city’s historical and cultural attractions have also made it the United Kingdom’s second most popular tourist destination, attracting over one million overseas visitors each year.
Home to the Scottish Parliament and the seat of the monarchy in Scotland, Edinburgh has long been a centre of education, particularly in law, the sciences, technology, medicine, literature, and engineering.
Most recently, Edinburgh has been named the most active city for innovation in the UK outside of London.
The 27th AACD Workshop will take place over 3 days in central Edinburgh and will focus on 3 main themes: Analog Techniques for Power Constrained Applications (day one), Sensors for Mobile Devices (day two) and Energy Efficient Amplifiers and Drivers (day three).
The programme, which includes 18 speakers, has been carefully organised by the AACD Programme Committee consisting of Andrea Baschirotto, University of Milan-Bicocca; Kofi Makinwa, T.U. Delft; and Pieter Harpe, T.U. Eindhoven.
