As you will hopefully be aware, Photonics Scotland turned 30 in 2024. As the culmination of a series of events celebrating this significant milestone, Technology Scotland are hosting a reception at the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 12th March 2025, 1800-2000.
As well as being an occasion to celebrate one of the world’s oldest photonics associations with friends and colleagues, it also represents an important opportunity to showcase our capabilities in photonics and quantum to political figures from across the Scottish Parliamentary landscape. With a Holyrood election in 2026, this will be a timely reminder to our future decision makers of the opportunity our sector represents.
Invites will go out to members shortly, but in the meantime we would ask you to hold this date in your diaries. As part of the evening we will be coordinating a showcase to include member exhibition stalls and demonstrations. If you wish to participate in this showcase, please confirm your interest by contacting Alison McLeod, Director – Photonics Scotland, using the link below.
