On Thursday 23rd March, Technology Scotland, through its Product Design Scotland Network, delivered the third in its ‘Design for the Future of…’ series. This event, Design for the Future of Wearables, focussed on the role of design in realising the products and technological developments that will shape the rapidly growing wearable technology market. From healthcare and wellness to elite sports and defence, these technologies are set to have an increasing impact on our lives over the next decade. Design will continue to play a crucial role, from early stage concept development through to manufacture scale up.
