Since 2015, ‘You. Smart. Thing.’ (“YST”) has pioneered a new approach to personal data management.
Since 2015, ‘You. Smart. Thing.’ (“YST”) has pioneered a new approach to personal data management. Its application in the field of intelligent mobility has led to Department for Transport backed research and development contracts with Arriva UK Trains, the Rail Safety Standard Board, the West Midlands Combined Authority and Transport for London. Whilst continuing to deliver R&D consultancy to this established public-sector client base, during 2019, building on successful trials that focused on scalability and robustness, YST launched its ‘Travel Assistant’ Software-as-a-Service platform.
By embedding the You. Smart. Thing. Travel Assistant into existing customer touchpoints organisations can offer personalised travel advice to employees and visitors to their venues and events. The platform offers bespoke routing to offices or factories, health and education institutions, sports stadiums, theatres and festivals.
It is as easy to add to a website, social media post or mobile app as Google maps. Unlike Google, the Travel Assistant offers destination and transport operators valuable forecasting of visitors intended travel plans, alongside real-time messaging. It can be used to optimise operational resources, reduce costs and maximise the visitors’ experience. Benefits include the ability to curate door-to-door journeys via the most appropriate route, transport modes and complimentary services to ensure people get the best possible value from their trip, based on their personal preferences and requirements.
