Photonics Scotland, the network for all photonics and photonics enabled organisations in Scotland, kicked off their 30th anniversary celebrations at an event in the Clayton Hotel in Glasgow on 16th May. It was a very successful evening, attended by more than 100 senior representatives from across the Scottish photonics sector.
“It was a fantastic evening, and really reminded us of the great community and capabilities that we have here in Scotland. The future is definitely looking bright, and it is an exciting time for all of us!” Alison McLeod, Director – Photonics Scotland.
This event is just the start of the anniversary celebrations, with more activities and events planned for the coming months and a finale showcase reception for Photonics Scotland members taking place at the Scottish Parliament on 12th March 2025.
