Technology Scotland recently caught up with our member, Grw Talent,  for our Member Spotlight series. We find out who Grw Talent are, what they do, and much more! Take a look below and get to know them.

What Does Your Organisation Do?

Some members of the Technology Scotland community might remember me from my previous company ESS Recruit? I exited this business in 2023 and after a year in Abu Dhabi I have re-entered the Scottish market. Whilst I initially set up Grw Talent as a mainstream recruitment business, our ultimate goal and mission is to disrupt and radically change the recruitment industry with AI. We are launching a future agentic AI talent platform called Scout (www.grwscout.com) and a salary sacrifice benefits platform (to be called Halo) designed for Scottish companies in mind that supports candidates and clients and is sector agnostic.

What is your organisation’s biggest achievement?

Without doubt our biggest achievement to date is identifying how, where and why AI and future quantum apps and platforms can disrupt the busy recruitment space, provide a more scientific approach to recruiting, deliver real insight and signals to a broad ecosystem and give every company in Scotland the chance to recruit better, smarter, faster whilst paying less. For the candidates, they can control their career direction, reveal more than just a cv and move from reactive to proactive job searching.  The app will provide smart data matching between candidates and clients, making the recruitment process more scientific and less event and chance driven.

Something Exciting About Our Organisation?

Done properly and fully adopted we think that our AI talent solution will transform and irrevocably change recruitment and talent management as we know it. We are ultimately offering an AI recruiter to every business in Scotland on a low cost (£99/month) monthly paid SaaS subscription deal. However, the Halo benefits platform will provide HMRC compliant salary sacrifice benefits for companies and their staff regardless of size; put simply this does not exist at this time for Scottish companies.

Why Did you Join Technology Scotland?

On a personal level I was a very early member of the group when it formed. I enjoy the meeting of minds and the chance to learn / understand where we as a country are going in key sectors. With my company hat on, there is a real vibe of giving something back to Scottish people and hard working businesses. We want to use networks and ecosystems like Technology Scotland to showcase our leading edge AI products and technology. I am now a tech Founder as well as a potential talent supplier to the broader community.
