The Technology Scotland Annual Dinner 2023 is less than one month away! 

The Technology Scotland team are looking forward to welcoming attendees along our Annual Dinner 2023, the biggest event in our calendar and what is set to be our biggest Annual Dinner to date!

This event will welcome around 250 attendees from across all three of our networks and across the wider Technology Scotland community for an evening of networking and celebrations, creating new connections and helping to solidify those already established.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues old and new from across the sector, enjoy an evening of celebrations with your team, and recognise the great work happening across the Technology Scotland community.

Here’s a taster of what to expect on the evening:

  • Welcome drink on arrival and networking drinks reception
  • Opportunity to hear from Alastair Humphreys, our engaging after-dinner speaker
  • A fantastic three course meal with wine
  • Plenty of time to network across the evening

About Alastair Humphreys:

Alastair Humphreys is a British Adventurer and Author. He spent over 4 years cycling round the world, a journey of 46,000 miles through 60 countries and 5 continents.

More recently Alastair has walked across southern India, rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, run six marathons through the Sahara desert, completed a crossing of Iceland, busked through Spain and participated in an expedition in the Arctic, close to the magnetic North Pole. He has trekked 1000 miles across the Empty Quarter desert and 120 miles round the M25 – one of his pioneering microadventures. He was named as one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the year for 2012. In 2023, The Royal Geographical Society gave Alastair the Ness Award for ‘his long-standing contributions to promoting a greater understanding of our world and wider public engagement with the outdoors.’
