About this meeting

At this meeting of the Photonics for Space SIG the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS) will provide an introduction to their capabilities and facilities which can support the photonics and space industries.

Focused on manufacturing excellence and driving growth, NMIS has manufacturing and design capabilities that are used in aerospace/space for creating next generation products as well as supporting the development of skills in the region.

An introduction will be made to future photonics focused work and how industry can engage to shape future capability development.

We shall also be joined by the Horizon Europe National Contact Point for Space to hear about the recent updates on additional UK participation in the framework programme and information on relevant upcoming calls.

Finally we shall have feedback from recent relevant meetings an events, and have a look at upcoming events for the sector.
