OUP is a platform for photonics professionals in academia and industry to come together to discuss the future of photonics in the UK. Whilst the aim of this event is to provide a forum for CEOs and hiring managers to engage in discussion and best practice suggestions regarding diversity and inclusivity in photonics, a particular focus of this event will be on celebrating female successes in this area and understanding gender equity issues in the community.
Focussed panel sessions, accompanied by breakout opportunities, will aim to tackle emergent challenges such as career progression and barriers to entrepreneurship and engagement, whilst enabling the growth of new connections.
